Patient calls and AI sprawl, handled separately.

Patients still call, and front desks can’t always answer. At the same time, ambient scribes, copilots, and AI built into clinical systems are arriving from every direction. We treat them as two projects, with different products and different data paths.

Answer patient calls on the phone system you have.

Chat411 answers on Asterisk and FreePBX and transfers callers to staff when they ask for a person. Numbers, carriers, and call routing stay where they are. Early release.

  • Greets every caller right away, with no phone tree to press through
  • Transfers to an extension on request, then leaves the call
  • Shows operators a live transcript of both sides of the call
  • Front-desk and after-hours coverage that routes callers to staff

What is live and what isn’t

Answer and transfer are live today. A configured front desk, with your directory, hours, and common answers, is planned, and so are saved call records. Transcripts are live-only for now.

The PalmConnect roadmap

Local path. For internal or sensitive lines, Chat411 can use a local model with media that can be encrypted. PSTN is not required: internal extensions, intercom, and on-net SIP can keep conversation audio on your network.

Cloud realtime path. Caller audio streams to a cloud realtime voice provider (xAI by default). Choose this where that egress is acceptable. Call control stays on your PBX in both paths.

We scope healthcare deployments with your compliance team before go-live. Neither voice path certifies compliance.

One gateway for AI arriving from every direction.

Scribes, copilots, and AI features inside clinical and business systems each bring their own model and their own data terms. WolfPackAI gives you one gateway on your infrastructure that decides which models are available to staff. NoPilot adds a hosted assistant where one belongs.

WolfPackAI

Open and commercial models through one gateway on your servers or private cloud. Local models stay on your hardware; chosen requests go to commercial providers. Alpha · pilots available. View WolfPackAI

NoPilot

A Copilot-style assistant you host, with enterprise sign-in. Documents stay on your infrastructure. If you connect a commercial model API, prompts go to that provider. Early access. View NoPilot

Private RAG

Answers from your policies, procedures, and operations documents, with sources, on infrastructure you control. Built with you as an engagement. Details

We have worked where health data lives.

Before Palm Hill, Edgett spent six years at a healthcare technology company, leading language model research, building its internal GPU cluster, and leading a contract validation product for agreements between drug manufacturers and health insurers. Before that, he built OCR and page classification into the review of claims and the medical records behind them. Full career

How we work with compliance

We design with HIPAA requirements in mind, put people in charge where a mistake would be costly, and monitor the system once it is live. We don’t certify compliance; we build systems your compliance team can review. Our approach

Questions from healthcare teams

Can Chat411 answer patient calls?

Chat411 answers and transfers on Asterisk and FreePBX. Its local path uses a local model, media can be encrypted, and PSTN is not required. Its cloud realtime path streams caller audio to a provider, xAI by default. We scope healthcare deployments with your compliance team before go-live. Early release.

Does the voice agent replace our phone system?

No. Chat411 runs next to your existing Asterisk or FreePBX system. A single inbound route sends calls to it, and every other route keeps working as it does today.

How do you handle HIPAA?

We design systems with HIPAA requirements in mind and review them with your compliance team. We don’t certify compliance; we build systems your compliance team can review, and we are specific about where each piece of data goes.

Can we keep AI models on our own servers?

Yes. WolfPackAI runs local models on your hardware and routes only chosen requests to commercial providers. NoPilot keeps documents on your infrastructure; prompts go to a provider if you connect a commercial model API. Chat411’s local path can keep audio on your network. Its cloud realtime path sends caller audio to a provider.

Where should we start?

With one of the two problems, not both. For calls, a single after-hours or overflow line. For governance, an inventory of the AI tools already in use and a gateway pilot.

Pick the problem to solve first.

Patient calls or AI governance. We will tell you what we would test first and what your compliance team should see before anything goes live. We don’t partner with any chip, hardware, or cloud vendor, so you keep control of what runs and where.
